The BPR (Back Pressure Regulator) works on the opposite principle to a standard pressure regulator: rather than controlling the outlet pressure, it steadily maintains a set inlet pressure regardless of downstream flow. As pressure builds past the setpoint, the BPR relieves the excess through the outlet, holding the vessel or system at a constant target pressure. The Hiflux BPR is rated up to 15,000psi inlet pressure and prevents leaks by applying a seal type suited to the characteristics of the gas or liquid being handled. It offers six different relief pressure ranges, bubble-tight shut-off at all reseat pressures, and an accuracy of 1% of the relief pressure range, with an optional high-flow Cv=0.6 model and NACE compatibility for sour service.

GPR (General Pressure Regulator) (Normal Type)

The GPR (General Pressure Regulator) is a pressure control device designed to constantly adjust and maintain the pressure released to the outlet within the range of pressure entering the inlet. It prevents leaks by applying a seal type suited to the characteristics of the gas or liquid being handled, and is available across inlet pressure ratings from 500psi up to 3,000psi. Built with SS316L VAR SST construction and a compact, unobstructed flow path with no threads through the wetted path, the GPR is fully repairable and changeable on-site rather than requiring full replacement. HPR (High Pressure Regulator)

The HPR (High Pressure Regulator) is a pressure control device designed to constantly adjust and maintain the pressure released to the outlet within the range of pressure entering the inlet. Unlike the GPR, which handles lower-pressure applications, the HPR is built for high-pressure duty, available across inlet pressure ratings from 800psi up to 15,000psi and converting to six different outlet pressure ranges. It features a main valve cartridge that is easily maintained, an unbalanced stem that provides positive shut-off, and a spring-loaded piston sensor for safety and reliability, with numerous porting options and support for captured venting. A NACE-compatible option is available for sour service applications, and the regulator is rated for ambient operating and fluid media temperatures from -55°C to 100°C.

ABPR (Air Operating Back Pressure Regulator)

The ABPR (Air Operating Back Pressure Regulator) works on the same principle as a standard BPR, steadily maintaining a set inlet pressure by relieving excess pressure through the outlet as it builds past the setpoint. Unlike a manually set BPR, the ABPR's setting pressure is adjusted through an electronic regulator and can be controlled remotely, available in 10,000psi (0~5bar operating air pressure) and 20,000psi (0~3bar operating air pressure) versions. It offers six different relief pressure ranges, bubble-tight shut-off at all reseat pressures, and an optional high-flow Cv=0.6 model, with a rated ambient operating and fluid media temperature of -55°C to 100°C.
